from Wilmington, DE, USA.
Trina Gardner is the vice president of The National Collage Society, the only non-profit art foundation whose mission is to promote and educate the public about the only new art medium of the 20th century - collage. Trina received a BS in Art Education from Kent State University and has taught art in the public school system. It was when teaching disabled students that collage became an important medium of expression. For the last 10 years she has been incorporating collage in her oil paintings. More recently she has been exploring photo-collage incorporating her own photographs as well as graphic images from commercial materials.
